Mark Harris

- Mark Harris has over 36 years’ industry experience as a Process Safety and Risk Specialist and Facilitator working in the Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical and Water Industries throughout his career. Goal-driven, competent, and an interdisciplinary team leader with many years of up-to-date experience in process safety and risk leadership and technical expertise. Proven track-record of supporting operating assets to achieve safe, reliable, and compliant operations. Strong desire to provide high-quality process safety and risk management services that not only provide significant value to clients, but also support organisational goals and objectives. Capable of driving quality process safety solutions and engaging project team members in process safety driven design mentality. Demonstrated experience and interest in development and mentoring of specialist staff His experience includes HAZOP Facilitator, Pipeline Safety Management Study Facilitator, Risk workshop leadership, Project Risk Management and Engineering Design Leadership. Mark has previously worked as a Subject Matter Expert, leading Process, Mechanical and Process Safety technical excellence both nationally and linking in with Global Technical Networks.

- Aurecon - Director Asset Management, SA:
- Mark was engaged to set up an Asset Management Business Unit in South Australia as part of Aurecon’s strategy to create a national Asset Management Business. Starting from scratch, Mark built a team and worked with other parts of the Aurecon business to engage with clients and build capability. Mark also continued to lead SMS, HAZOP, CHAZOP and Project Risk activities to support Aurecon projects.

- Logicamms – Key Account Manager, Engineering Manager & Principal Process Engineer, SA:
- Mark brought his business development experience and technical leadership to Logicamms initially taking the Engineering Management role on a major EPC project for Epic Energy. He also delivered Project and Pipeline risk assessment along with his Process Safety Leadership. Logicamms had purchased an engineering and construction business ITL in New Zealand and Mark worked closely with the new business to deliver the EPC project and other Design, Construct and Supply Meter Station Project for APA in Victoria.

- Mark brought his business development experience and technical leadership to Fyfe working to support Fyfe’s Adelaide and Brisbane offices. He continued to provide his Project Risk, Pipeline Risk, HAZOP, CHAZOP and general Process Safety experience to support various projects.

- Mark spent 14 years at KBR in a variety of roles including Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer and Team Leader for the Process & Industrial business unit. Other roles included Business Development Manager. Mark also held the role of Technical Sector Leader providing technical leadership to our Process, Mechanical and Process Safety technical teams and building relationships with our international technical leadership. He continued to provide his Project Risk, Pipeline Risk, HAZOP, CHAZOP and general Process Safety experience to support various projects.
